Finding related words is easy. Proving the claim is harder.
SwiftOPSA separates retrieval relevance from evidentiary support so a semantically similar passage does not automatically become “proof” for an AI claim.
Evidence-grounded reasoning
The semantic engine chunks ingested information into proposition-sized passages, builds a local semantic index, retrieves conceptually related evidence, compares polarity and meaning, and persists the passages used in each reasoning trace.
Support, contradiction, insufficiency
A governed system should be able to say more than yes or no. SwiftOPSA can distinguish supported claims, contradicted claims, and cases where the available enterprise evidence is insufficient.
Why this matters for RAG and enterprise AI
Retrieval-augmented generation can improve model context, but retrieval alone does not establish that the retrieved record supports the model's statement. SwiftOPSA introduces an independent boundary between retrieval and support.
Reasoning that leaves a trail
The semantic index and reasoning traces remain part of the enterprise control plane rather than being owned by one LLM provider. That supports portability across model changes and gives later reviewers something more useful than “the model said so.”
Relevant is not proven. Fluent is not authorized.
Those two separations drive the architecture: evidence governs what can be established; authority governs what may become action.
